Pitts’ Pick Investment Property

Remember the telephone booth?  And having to plan your day around stopping to make important calls or to call in to your office secretary for any messages that may have come in?  Remember how the term “defensive driving” did not include having to watch out for someone who is completely oblivious to everything but the phone in their hand?  If you can, there is no problem with your long term memory recall, because it was a quarter century this week that the first cell phone call was made in the U.S. by Bob Barnett to Alexander Graham Bell’s grandson on a Motorola Dyna TAC handset that weighed 2.5 pounds and retailed for nearly $4,000!

What’s that got to do with today’s pick investment property? Nuthin’,  ‘cept that you probably could use a cell phone weighing and costing a fraction of the original to place a call (what shameless promotion!) for our Saturday caravan of investment properties. (303)650-2866.

Here’s one that we’ll definitely want to visit: It’s in Commerce City, where, despite the name, there are some pretty trick residential areas.  This property was built back in the day when builders thought there would be no end of people waiting in line to buy their product.  Just make them pretty enough, give plenty of upgrades and financing incentives (spelled A-R-M) and they could build homes forever.  Yep, that was way back in 2005.  That’s when our pick property was  built as a model home. It’s a 3 bed / 3 bath ranch and it has everything: Granite, Stainless, Hardwoods and Rock.  What’s more is that it’s a bank-owned investment potential that comps for $370,000, but listed for only $289,900!  Pictures would indicate that minimal rehab work is needed, so this on gets the MyH-O-M-E.com Good Housebuying Seal of Approval!  Hit us up if you want to get to this before the caravan leaves on Saturday.
